Exhibitors have positive results, which should impact business over the next 12 months. Visitors from all over the world do business with Brazilian companies.
São Paulo, September, 2018 – The Pet Brasil Institute, which organized the Brazilian pavilion at Interzoo, the pet sector international trade show in Nuremberg, Germany, announced that the 16 companies that participated in the event should generate new business in the order of approximately USD 8 million over the next 12 months. The Brazilian pavilion showed the global market the products of 16 companies in the Pet Food, Pet Care and Pet Serv segments, as well as the portfolio of ornamental fish breeders. The initiative is a partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil).
Brazilian companies made contact with potential customers from a number of countries, including China, Israel, Malaysia, the United Kingdom, Japan, Portugal, France, Spain, Germany and South Korea. During the event, exhibitors calculated a positive result of USD 719,000. For half of the companies, the results were better, or much better, than expected.
“In addition to networking and prospecting new business, attending international events also allows Brazilian companies to learn about different packaging and labeling standards, formulations and certifications. The experience is crucial for both companies that are not yet exporters, but interested in exporting their products, as well as companies that want to expand their markets,” says Nelo Marraccini Neto, Pet Brasil Institute’s Vice President of Trade and Services.
The following companies marked their presence at the pavillion: Anilhas Capri, AnimallTAG, Furacão Pet, H&K, Hercosul, Manfrim, Matsuda, Megazoo, Mundo Koi, Nicoluzzi, Nutrire, Pet Society, Petix, Interbrilho, Poytara and Procão.
