São Paulo, May 2023 – Pet Society won one category that rewards innovative products and services for pets. The title was won with Hydra Vegan Detox at Zoomark International 2023 in Italy. The participation of Brazilian brands in Zoomark is part of IPB (Instituto Pet Brasil) action, together with the Pet Brasil Sectoral Project, a partnership between IPB and ApexBrasil (Agência Brasileira de Promoções e Exportações e Investimentos).
The winners received their awards at Zoomark’s Pet Vision area on Tuesday (16), where new products and services that will shape the pet market for years to come were presented.
The award had a specialized jury of journalists who cover the sector internationally, responsible for selecting the companies that best interpret the segment trends.
“The Brazilian pet market, like other sectors, faces many difficulties. Therefore, having a national company winning such an important award is essential to show our strength and relevance on the global stage”, says Nelo Marraccini, president of the Instituto Pet Brasil Advisory Board.

About Instituto Pet Brasil
Instituto Pet Brasil (IPB) was born in 2013 to stimulate the development of the Pet sector, composed of the pillars of creation, products, and pet services. The industry generates over 3 million jobs and moves a chain with over 150 thousand companies. The entity leads projects to promote knowledge, entrepreneurship, and innovation to professionalize the entire pet chain. It pioneered the dissemination of the study on Animals in Condition of Vulnerability, which brought an overview of the scenario of pet abandonment, NGOs (over 400), their distribution across the states, and the number of assisted animals.
Our goal is to build a professionalized sector and strengthen the relationship between humans and pets, which is proven to be beneficial for the health and well-being of both.
IPB provides relevant information for the sector, as well as promotes the training of Brazilian companies, generating more competitiveness and, with that, increasingly better services for our best friends.
The Agência Brasileira de Promoção de Exportações e Investimentos (ApexBrasil) works to promote Brazilian products and services abroad and attract foreign investment to strategic sectors of the Brazilian economy. The Agency carries out diversified trade promotion actions, such as prospective and trade missions, business roundtables, support for Brazilian companies to participate in major international fairs, and visits by foreign buyers and opinion-makers to learn about the Brazilian production structure.
