How to export pet food to the Asian country will be the central theme; a free online event will take place on February 8 at 10 am
São Paulo, February 2023 – IPB (Instituto Pet Brasil) and ApexBrasil (Agência Brasileira de Promoção de Exportações e Investimentos) promote the webinar “How to Sell Pet Food to China,” a virtual event to be held on February 8, 2023, at 10 am on the Zoom platform. Registration is free and can be done until February 7th by clicking here.
China’s pet food industry has grown steadily in recent years and generated $1 billion in 2020, forecast to reach nearly $1.4 billion in 2028. “The main reasons are the average Chinese income increase and the growth in the number of pets, mainly in the big Chinese cities,” says Nelo Marraccini, president of the IPB Advisory Board.
In addition, some trends could further accelerate this growth, such as the use of e-commerce in the purchase of products and also the increased demand for natural pet foods, which are generally more expensive.
Participants will be able to attend two lectures: “Animal Feed Opportunities in China: how to sell Brazilian animal feed products to China,” with Lennie Tao, Food Regulatory Analyst at ChemLinked, and “Supply Chain Services for Animal Food Brands,” with David Zhao, Director of Global Supply Chain and Logistics at GLP SCS.
