An initiative of the Pet Brasil Institute, in partnership with Apex-Brasil, generated new business for 16 Brazilian companies in Los Angeles (USA)
São Paulo, September, 2018 – ThePet Brasil Institute, in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil), brought nine Brazilian companies looking to globalize their businesses to the Brazilian pavilion at SuperZoo, the pet industry international trade show, which took place in Las Vegas (USA) in the first quarter. The companies operate in the Pet Serv, Pet Food and Pet Care segments.
Exhibitors estimate a return of USD 1.8 million at the pavilion, and new business of up to USD 3.4 million over the next 12 months. For 60% of them, the results were much better than expected. Among the main countries interested in doing business were Canada, the United States, Belgium, Mexico and South Korea. According to Nelo Marraccini Neto, Pet Brasil Institute’s Vice President of Trade and Services, it is vital to participate in international events. “The exchange of ideas and contact with cutting-edge services and products is very important for stimulating innovation in the Brazilian pet sector,” he says.
The Brazilian pavilion enjoyed the presence of the following companies: AnimallTAG Brasil, Furacão Pet, Hercosul, Perigot, Pet Society, Interbrilho, Petix, Pipi Dolly’s, Polinutri and VetSense.
